All about Pink

Pink is one of the prettiest color and is generally in every girls wardrobe . This nail art is all about the gorgeous pink !

Most of the Nail art designs are difficult to do on the right hand as working with the left hand is difficult. This design is easy enough to be done on the Right Hand as well.

What you need :

  • Dark pink nail  paint
  • Light pink nail paint
  • Silver/Pink Glitter nail paint
  • Clear nail paint
  • Craft scissors + scotch tape / Chevron tapes
  • Base/Top coat ( optional)  PhotoGrid_1451233048615

What I have used :

  • Pink crush By oriflame
  • Light pink shade By Wet and Wild ( part of french manicure set)
  • Pink champagne By maybelline ( Gliter mania)
  • Crystal Clear  By maybelline ( color show)
  • Craft scissors + Scotch Tape
  • Very me base and top coat By oriflamePhotoGrid_1451395308869.jpg

How to do it :

  1. Start with the base coat to protect your nails ( optional)
  2. To make your Chevron tapes cut the scotch tape with the craft scissor . Make few of them before starting the nail art. Try to make them of equal width.                                                                                                         ( TIP: Stick the tapes on the back of your hand a few times to reduce their stickiness )
  3. There are 3 patterns in this design
    1. Paint the nail dark pink and allow it to dry . Make the design in the picture with the help of two chevron tapes.
    2. Paint the nail with light pink nail paint and again using the chevron tapes make the design.
    3. For the third pattern paint the base with clear polish and use the chevron tapes and glitter nail paint to get the design.
  4. Seal the design with a top coat for a glossy finish. (  optional)

Pink Leopard

Hello fellow nail art lovers !

Animal Prints can never go out of style , and this nail art tutorial is just about that . To keep things fresh i have added a pop of color to the gorgeous leopard print making it look super girly , but you can use any colors of your choice of course . Hope you like it 🙂

What you need:

  • Two contrast color nail paints
  • Black nail paint
  • Toothpick / striping Brush
  • Base/Top coat ( optional)

What I have used:

  • Porcelain Party By Maybelline ( colorshow)
  • Blackout By Maybelline ( colorshow)
  • Color Code 12 By Easy maxx
  • Very me Base and Top coat By Oriflame
  • Toothpicks

How to do it

  1. Start by applying a base coat to protect your nails ( optional)
  2. Paint the ring finger nail with white nail paint .
  3. Using the non-pointed side of the toothpick make random dots of any size of pink color.
  4. Take the black nail paint on the pointed side of the toothpick and make brackets around the dots . The brackets should not be perfect in shape , they should be a little out of shape so that it looks like the leopard print . PhotoGrid_1451232603966
  5. Make random dots / spots / marks of black color in between the dots .
  6. You can do this on all the nails or only one , like i have done.
  7. Seal the design with a Top coat for a  glossy finish (optional).

Try NOT to make perfect brackets like the one on the left.

Monochrome Nails

This is a very chick and extremely simple to do nail art . Although any colors can be used to do this , but white and black give the best results. It looks time consuming , but it would take not more than 15 minutes to do it .

What you need

  • black nail paintPhotoGrid_1444152635753
  • white nail paint
  • clear nail paint
  • top and base coat ( optional)

What I have used

  • Blackout by Maybelline ( colorshow)
  • Porcelain party by Maybelline ( colorshow)
  • Crystal Craze by Maybelline (colorshow)
  • Very me top and base coat by oriflame

Max time : 15 mins

How to do this:

  1. Start by applying base coat to protect your nails ( optional)
  2. Apply a generous quantity of clear polish but don’t let it dry . Take the back polish and make random big dots with the nail paint brush , you don’t have to make small precise dots with a nail art brush , but big dots with the nailpaint brush  . You will see the black dots expanding in the clear polish .
  3. Immediately take the white polish and make white dots inside the black dots and in the spaces between black dots . These dots too will spread and expand.
  4. Seal the design with a top coat ( optional). In case you decide not to use a fast drying top coat , then you would have to wait for a minute or two to let the  paints  dry since a lot of layers of paint are there .

Hope you enjoy it 🙂
